How can I search the Ship To field in QBO?

Thank you for posting your concern here in the Community, northerngirl. I'll guide you through the steps how to search Ship to Field in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Before we begin, let's make sure that a Custom Field is set up to let you track the information that matters to you. Once done, let me show you how to search a transaction based on how to name this Custom Field. For example: "Ship To Field".

Here's how :

1. Go to the Search (magnifying glass) icon.
2. Type the custom field name "Ship To Field" or the information you fill in when you enter the transaction under this field.  

    

   
3.  Select a transaction from the search results.

The Ship To field is not a custom field.  My client is using QBO Plus Canadian.  Shipping To shows up by default on the sales invoice screen.  So far the only way I have found to search the field is to create a custom report, export to excel and then search within excel.

A new custom field is not needed and would cause confusion since the field already exists by default and has been used already.

I need to know how to search the existing field.  I tried to add an image for you, but the system keeps telling me I must be signed in to add attachments, even though I am signed in.

The option to search by 'Ship to' field, isn't available in QuickBooks Online Canada.  You can however, search by any combination of name, address, amount, number, date, and more.  Please feel free to submit a suggestion to our Development Team, if you would like to see this feature available in future updates.
