I've got an alternative method you can perform to achieve your goal, @Taxave.
It seems like you're using the QuickBooks Online (QBO) UK or AU version based on your scenario. Currently, being able to remove the "cheque" from the remittance advice's email header is unavailable. I know its importance as it helps you personalise the form to enhance your business' brand.
As a workaround, I'd first recommend sending the remittance advice through your email address. Then, manually remove the (Cheque) in the Fw: field and send it to the supplier's email. I'll guide you how.
- Go to your inbox after you send the remittance to yourself.
- Click the Forward button.
- Enter the supplier's email address in the To field.
- Manually remove the (Cheque) in the Fw: box.
- Choose Send.
The screenshot below shows you the last three steps.

In the meantime, I'd suggest visiting this website if you're using the UK version: QBO Blog. It helps you learn more about our product innovations. Also, you can enter your email address and click Subscribe in the Let's stay in touch section. Doing so will help you get the latest tips, advice, and resources straight to your inbox to help your business succeed. For AU, you can use this link instead: QuickBooks Resource Centre. Then, go to the Help Your Business Thrive section to sign up for our newsletter.
Also, you can always go to the Transaction List of your supplier. From there, you can view, edit, void, copy, print, or delete their transactions. It helps you ensure their balances are up to date in QBO. Just click the link below specific to your region:
Please know that I'm here anytime you have other concerns. Take care always, @Taxave.
