I'm happy to guide you in printing your employee’s prior W2 form, @solandservices.
Once you've saved your W2 in your QuickBooks account, you can to reprint them through the Filing History in the Payroll Center.
Here's how:
- On the left pane, go to Taxes.
- Click Payroll Tax.
- Select Filings, then select Annual Forms.
- Choose the year you need from the Select the period ▼dropdown.
- From here you can select:
- W-2, Copies A & D (employer)
- Transmittal of Wage and Tax Statements (W-3)
- W-2, Copies B, C & 2 (employee)
Once you've locate it, you can then proceed to the steps below:
- Click the View button to open Adobe Reader in a new window.
- Select the print icon on the Reader toolbar. Then select Print again.
Since you’re reprinting because your employee lost his/her copy, you can write REISSUED STATEMENT on the top and include a copy of the W-2 instructions.

You'd like to invite your employee workforce to QuickBooks so they can access their paystubs and W2s anytime they need. After that, they'll need to set up their account.
QuickBooks allows you to run payroll reports. This will provide you with a more detailed view of your employee's total wages, deductions, and tax information over a specific time period.
