Quickbooks has changed the invoice template. When I enter a tax exempted customer & take tax off check marked box. Total is correct, but when I either hit Print & Download or Save I get " AN APPLICATION ERROR HAS OCCURED WHILE PROCESSING YOUR REQUEST" Anyone else having this problem?
Hi Diane,
Thank you for dropping by here in the Community. I'm here to help you fix the error when printing or saving an invoice in QuickBooks Online.
We haven't received similar reports from other users about the issue on your end. Since the total is correct, but the problem persists when saving or printing, the browser's stored cache may be full.
In the meantime, you can perform some troubleshooting steps to isolate and resolve the issue. This process allows you to access sites without storing data in the cache.
Use these keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using:
If you can use the options above without issues, let's switch back to the regular browser and clear its cache. This way, you can restore the default setup of the browser and start with a clean slate.
In case private browsing doesn't work, let's use another supported web engine to determine if it's browser-related. Sometimes, errors persist because of the stored files and compatibility issues.

I am having the same problem since the invoice template changed. After calling customer support, they had me clear the cache and cookies. The first invoice was fine but it is doing it again. I cannot save the invoice let alone attempt to print it. I am using Quickbooks Online with a MAC.
I can see that you did everything you could to fix the issue, @CTERC.
Since you're still having issues, I encourage you to connect with our customer care team. They've got the experience to ensure that your concerns are conducted thoroughly. Additionally, they can refer this to our engineering department if necessary for a more in-depth resolution.

Moreover, if you have an estimate, you can convert it to invoices. This feature will allow you to save time by not having to manually enter the information twice. You can also set up and send progress invoicing. This lets you split an estimate into as many invoices as you want.
I appreciate your patience and understanding while we're working on this. Keep me posted if you still have questions regarding your invoices.
