Hi –
If a person participates in just one stage of Alpha or Beta testing, would they be eligible for the reward of free product?
For example, of the 4 testing phases, what if a tester was only available to participate in just the “Pre-Alpha” stage? Would that tester still be eligible for the free product reward? Or, does a tester have to participate in a specific testing stage to be eligible for the free product reward?
For reference, the four stages of testing are:
1. Pre-Alpha
2. Feature Alpha
3. Product Alpha
4. Product Beta
Hello Dav,
I'm here to answer your query with regard to QuickBooks Alpha and Beta testing.
When you sign up to be a product tester, you’ll be presented with opportunities to earn rewards. The eligibility for the free product is based on the participation requirements.
Furthermore, you can check this article on how testers are chosen: Where do I find information about beta testing?
You can always post in the forum whenever you have concerns about Intuit products.
Hi @Adrian_A -
I've been to the Intuit External Testing Portal which is where the QuickBooks article indicates to go regarding alpha and beta testing. However, whenever I use the contact options on that site to ask questions, I never receive a reply. So, how do I find out the answer to my question?

When I try to go to the external testing community it says that the community is no longer available.
Hello there, BMG. I see your interest in beta testing. Let me connect you to the specialized team that deals with this particular type of concern.
The status "This community is no longer available" means the Alpha and Beta testing is already unavailable.
In your case, I recommend reaching out to our dedicated Intuit Development Support. We have a separate platform for this, where you can engage with the developers regarding product testing.
