 Hello! I am taking a Beginning QuickBooks Desktop course online. The course instructs me to open the "Larry's Landscaping" data file. However, I do not have that file on my laptop. The one file included in the Trial download is for "Pro Hockey School". Does Intuit have a pre-built Larry's Landscaping file for use during the 30-day trial period? If so, can anyone provide a link to where I can download the file? I am working with QuickBooks Desktop 2022 Pro Trial Version.. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer!
P.S. I am not referring to EXPORTING anything from QuickBooks Desktop. Rather, I wish to Download and Import a sample file I can use for educational purposes. |

The "Larry's Landscaping" data file is accessible in the Sample service-based business option. You can open the said file using your QuickBooks Desktop 2022 Pro trial version.
Here’s how you do it:
- Open your QuickBooks Desktop trial account.
- If you’re currently on the Pro Hockey School company file, select the File menu and choose Close Company. Otherwise, proceed to step 3.
- Under the No Company Open window, click the Open a sample file drop-down arrow.
- Select Sample service-based business option.
- Click Yes in the Open sample company file window.
