Some of my subcontractors and hire equipment have disappeared when I go to itemise my transactions

Let's work together and investigate what's going on and be able to see your subcontractors and equipment you set up in QuickBooks Online, Wes32.

One of the possible causes is that your subcontractors have been inactivated. In this case, we'll need to go to the Contractors list to check their status.

Here's how:

  1. From the Expense tab, click the Contractors.
  2. Filter the All dropdown beside the Find the Contractor section.
  3. Choose the Inactive status, then if you see them there, set their status back to active.

Moreover, as for your hire equipment concern, we'll need to double-check your product and service status.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Product and Services by clicking the Gear icon.
  2. From the Search tab section within the screen, tick the Filter icon.
  3. Once done, change the Status, Type, and Category and press the Apply button.

If you see them in the Inactive list, we can set them to active again by clicking the Make Active option.

Furthermore, we can perform other suggested troubleshooting steps is you still encountered on displays or screenshots issue, such as clearing the cache and other supported browsers in resolving this case within your company.

Alternatively, I want to show this article that embarks on vendors transaction and to manage them:
