In Quickbooks Online, when entering a deposit, at the end of each line, when hitting TAB, it would typically advance to the next line and you could just keep entering by using the keyboard. Now, when you hit TAB, it skips all the next lines and goes to the "add line" button. This essentially forces you to use the mouse to go from line to line, and makes entering a long deposit take MUCH longer. Whatever was done to make this happen, can that be reversed ASAP?
I understand you want to use the Tab key for advancing to the next line when recording deposits, N8Finances. Let me share some important information about this issue.

I'm sorry, but you don't seem to understand the issue. I certainly didn't ask for a keyboard shortcut. I asked for TAB to work as it always has. Until this week, in Quickbooks Online, when at the end of a row of data, when you hit TAB, it advances to the next row. This is how it has always been, since the beginning of time. I'm not asking for a keyboard shortcut, just for Quickbooks to allow the basic functionality of TAB to work, as it does in literally every other application on the planet, and how it worked in Quickbooks Online until this past week, when it ceased to function in this way. Basically, whatever was done, needs to be undone, since it's screwed up now.
Why/when was tab function removed this is making it very very difficult to input invoices, bills when having multiple lines to data to post. Please return it to its normal function prior to the change. It is taking twice as long to do a job that should be simple and quick.
I'm having the same issue. It started in the middle of a deposit. Help, this is very frustrating.

As you can see, this is a global issue in QB Online, not confined to myself. I was simply bringing it to your attention so a patch could be done ASAP. I have reached out to customer service, they replicated the issue and don't know why it is occurring.
Apparently this is an issue they had back in 2022, INV-104271. If you search that in QB Community, you can see a whole thread where they basically admit they have no idea what the problem was. They must've fixed it at some point, but the identical problem is back now as of the beginning of May. It looks like it took them months to fix it before, so get ready to be forced to use the mouse to go to each subsequent line for the foreseeable future....
It appears they have fixed this. Hopefully whatever they did/undid doesn't happen again...
