"Update Layout" for invoice is broken

Hello, 

 

I noticed at the top right of my screen while inside of an invoice there is a link with the text "Update Layout - New." When I click that link it begins loading up a screen with the new invoice layout, but after a few seconds it kicks me back to the screen with the previous invoice template. It seems like the link is broken. 


Anyone know how to fix it to use the newer invoice layout?

I can share some info about the inconsistency you're having when trying to update to the new experience for your invoices. 

 

There's an ongoing issue when trying to update to the new experience using the Update Layout button. It doesn't stay on New Experience. Our Product Engineering team is already aware of this and is now working on a fix.

 

In the meantime, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Support Team. By doing so, you can be added to the list of affected users and receive an email notification once we resolve the issue. 

 

You can reach our Customer Support for QBO by going to the Help icon at the top right of the account. Then, let them add you to Investigation No. 94713.

 

Follow the steps below: 

 

  1. Go to the Help icon to connect to a live support agent. help1.JPG
  2. Go to the Search tab and click on the Contact Us button.

  3. Provide us with some information about your concern in the What can we help you with? box and click on Continue

  4. You'll now be provided options on how to connect to our Customer Support.

After transitioning to the new layout, you can experience the new features available in QuickBooks Online, including updates to estimates and invoices.
