Vendor Information

Does Vendor information have the capability of attaching attachments?  (like customer info has)

Hi Liftco!

 

Yes, you can attach vendor files. Let me show you how.

 

From the Vendor menu, choose Vendor Center. Select a vendor, and click the Clip (File) icon to attach an attachment.Capture.PNG

 

Also, QuickBooks Desktop has QuickBooks Doc Center where you can add or scan a document that you can attach to a transaction.

  1. Go to the Company menu.
  2. Select Documents, then Doc Center.

 

Please note that you need to do a manual backup to these attachments since they won't be included when you backup your company file. Please check this article to know more about how this feature works: QuickBooks Document Center: FAQs and common issues.
