Let me provide some insights about sales receipt numbers not matching after the financial exchange between POS and QuickBooks Desktop, @isaace01.

When performing a financial exchange, data is transferred from Point of Sale to QuickBooks Desktop and vice versa.

The process affects the numbering of your sales receipts. This is why it differs from your POS and QBDT. What we can do is manually change the receipt number in QuickBooks Desktop to match them in POS.
