Receipts are not loading and I can’t review them


my receipts are not loading and I can’t review them through the app. Is there any solution to this problem? 

 

it says “Refresh to sync your receipts
Some of your receipts haven't synced to the
QuickBooks app yet. Try refreshing.” And when I try to refreshing it says ”Something went wrong
We are having trouble loading your receipts.
Please try again later”

Let's ensure you can sync and review receipts to your QuickBooks mobile app. I'd provide you with a few troubleshooting steps to check if this is a mobile application issue. Let's start by resetting the data in your mobile app. 

 
Are you using an Android or iPhone device? We have different steps on each of these devices. You can refer to the steps below.
 
For Android:
 
  1. From More Options, select the Help & Feedback tab.
  2. Choose the Refresh Data menu.
  3. Hit Yes.
 
For iOs:
 
  1. Go to your iPhone's Settings menu, select Accessibility (varies by device), and click Apps.
  2. Select QuickBooks from the drop-down and choose the Menu tab.
  3. Select Help & Feedback.
  4. Click the Refresh data or Reset App Data.
  5. Reboot the app.

 

Once done, close and reopen the mobile app and the receipts. Also, I'd suggest restarting your phone. If you get the same result, uninstall and reinstall the QuickBooks Online app. This is to ensure you get the most recent version of the application.

I'll provide some information on what happens when  resetting your app data, Joselandscape.

 

Once you reset your app data, it is going to be brought to its initial state and settings wherein it's acting as it did before when you first installed the app on your phone. Thus, this helps improve and boost your phone's performance. This also refreshes your data and lets you see the latest available information. If you're using a different mobile operating system, you can follow the steps below:

 

iOS

  1. Go to Menu ☰ and tap Help & Feedback.
  2. Tap Refresh Data.
    Note: A message appears “Caution. If there was a problem getting your latest QuickBooks Online data, you can refresh it now. It may take a few minutes.”
  3. Tap Refresh to confirm.

 

Android

  1. Go to Menu ☰ then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Tap Settings then Refresh Data.
  3. Tap YES to confirm.

I tried that out but I don’t see the refresh data option anymore, I even watched a video but this solution seems to be for an older QuickBooks version https://youtu.be/WQNnjnweLQc

Thanks for getting back here and sharing updates about the steps you've performed, @Joselandscape. I'm here to further help you refresh your QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app data so you'll be able to review the receipts without error. 

 

When having trouble resetting the data using the mobile app, you can also do this by going to the Settings of your device. Follow along below to get this done right away.

 

For Android

  1. Open your phone's settings and select Apps (varies by device).
  2. Next, choose the QuickBooks app and select Storage.
  3. Then, click Clear data.  

 

For iOS 

  1. From your phone's settings click select Settings.
  2. Next, select General and choose iPhone Storage.
  3. Then, click the QBO app. To free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, select Offload App.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app to have a clean slate. On the other hand, you can also review the receipts by signing in to your account via a web browser.

I can do it via computer but it’s very time consuming.
