Reconciliation errors after updating Quickbooks Mac Desktop

I recently updated my Quickbooks Mac 2020 (now on V19.1.5 R16) and when I went to reconcile one of my bank accounts the opening balance was off from the previous reconciliation. I've traced it back and found that the error seems to be propagating forward from the March 2022 reconciliation - I was just about to do the December 2022 reconciliation and as of last month all of the reconciliations matched my bank statements - now the reconciliations from March forward don't. As far as I can tell from looking at the reconciliation reports there are now a bunch of missing transactions from March. I've done a bunch of work on my books today that I'd rather not loose. I'm wondering if I need to try restoring an older backup to recover those transactions? I don't see any changes reported in the the reconciliation discrepancies log.

Reconciliation errors after updating Quickbooks Mac Desktop

After quite a bit of time of puzzling and searching I found the corrupted entry. It looked like somehow a check got moved to a different account and a transfer between that account and another account on the same day was broken so that it showed up only in the one account's ledger, not the other account's. I moved the check (even though it showed as being reconciled) and edited the transfer and immediately the balances on both accounts when I went to reconcile them were back to the correct amounts. Screenshot attached of transfer showing up in one account but not the other.
