Recurring Transactions

Hello there, @102465. I'd like to share details about getting recurring transactions to show up in Accounts Payable (A/P) report in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and guide you on the actions you need to take to help take care of this matter.

I can see how the benefit of being able to get your recurring transactions to show up in A/P report would aid you in managing your business expenses with QBO. However, the option to customize the said report to display or identify only your recurring transactions is currently unavailable. It'll automatically show the list of all your payable expenses.

We take your suggestions as opportunities to improve the various features of our products. Therefore, I would encourage you to send suggestions or product recommendations.

Your valuable feedback will be forwarded and reviewed by our Product Development team to help improve your experience while using the program. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Type in your recommendation in the Share your feedback field.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Also, you may want to check out these articles as your reference in case you need to get a list of all your recurring transactions and check your most recent ones in QBO:

On top of that, I'd also recommend visiting this page to keep you updated with the latest software improvements and enhancements with QBO: Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online.

I'm all ears if you have other reporting concerns or questions about managing business expenses in QBO. You can drop a comment below, and I'll gladly help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, @102465.

Recurring Transactions

I am not looking to create a separate report with only recurring transactions.  I simply would like my recurring transactions to show up on my AP report, along with all my other payables.

Recurring Transactions

Did you ever find a solution to this? I am after the same, to see what is due next month, including direct debits. I spent 45 minutes on the online chat, with no solution as I don't think they understood what i was after (a common theme on the online chat helpdesk)

Recurring Transactions

Hi there, LBird.

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing various details on how the Accounts Payable report works in QuickBooks with recurring entries. Then, ensure you can see the due date and direct debit transactions.

If you're referring to getting only the recurring transactions to show up in the Account Payables report, this is still currently unavailable. As mentioned above, the report automatically appears all your payable expenses with the due date details. Also, AP reports tracks credit expenditures and verify bill payments.

For now, we’re unable to provide you with a specific time frame as to when this feature will roll out. Rest assured, our engineering team is working on implementing the customer's needs.

However, if you mean to see transactions that are due next month including direct debits with the merchant, I suggest logging into your Merchant account. Then, go to the Activity & Reports menu and you'll be able to view the details of any entries.

Here's how:

  1. From Merchant Service Center, select Transactions under Activity & Reports menu.
  2. Choose the Dates dropdown menu to change the date needed. You can filter any six-month period in the last 12 months.
  3. If you want to, select the Show advanced options to do a specific search using the transaction ID and expiration date of the card.
  4. Click Search. Then, choose the transaction to see more details about it.

Lastly, you may refer to this article to see details on how you can view and download up to 24 months of your statements: View and download statements in the Merchant Service Center.

Please don't hesitate to click the Reply button below if you still have a question about recurring transactions. I'm always here to help, LBird. Have a great day, LBird.
