Quickbooks online did some update recently where, when adding a new customer, the field for their name automatically jumps to "company name" which means having to mouse over to their name rather than just type.
How do I remove this?

I can see that many users, like you, want to disable the Company name as the default field when adding a new customer. Currently, this is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). We listen to our customers and consider their feedback when improving or adding new programs. That said, let me help you forward this valuable insight to our software engineers. This way, they can assess your recommendation and might consider working on this feature in our future product enhancements.
To do that:
In QBO, we can create and send the same invoice to multiple customers. When we charge several customers for the same items or services on different dates, let's set up an unscheduled recurring invoice. Then, we can edit the template and send it to numerous customers as needed.

How about you provide this to your engineers as this is such an obvious oversite, I can't think of anyone who wants this as a default, or unable to disable this "feature."
