Join nowI'm currently running QB POS 2013 Pro Level and am having trouble finding how to change the date on a REPRINTED Receipt.
For example a customer purchases a product on 6/18/18. At the end of the year the customer needs a reprinted receipt for tax purposes. When I reprint the receipt, it prints out with the current date and not the date of the actual purchase. Can that be changed? Or is there a way to add an option to have that printed?
Hi there, @kelleyandsonstrailers.
Welcome to the Community. I can help share some information about reprinting receipts in QuickBooks POS.
Once the receipt is printed, we can no longer change or modify it. If you need to print it again, it should show the actual date of purchase and not the current date.
However, since you're getting this odd behavior, I'd suggest performing a clean reinstall.
This will help resolve the most common software issues. Let me help direct you to this article for the detailed steps: Perform a clean reinstall for QuickBooks Desktop Point of sale.
You can also contact our POS Support if you need further assistance in going through the steps.
This will get you on the right track. As always, I'm here to help anytime if you have additional questions about printing your receipts. Have a good one.
That cannot be changed.
