One of my files crashed and even though there are instructions on how to restore it, I can't seem to figure it out. I have an IMac desktop and recently purchased a Mac laptop, and it went back to a file from 2015. Help!! I cannot locate the "Attachments Library" file it's telling me to access.
I'll help you get back to work, pcstan3.
When restoring a company file to your new laptop, you'll have to make sure to use the latest copy of the backup. That said, you'll want to get a new copy of your backup file from your iMac desktop. Feel free to follow these steps to view your most recent backup:
I'd also suggest securing a copy of the Attachments Library folder so you can restore it and use your attached documents in your QuickBooks. When you're all set up and ready, follow the steps in this article to be guided in restoring your company file and attached documents: Restore your backup company file.
Lastly, here's an article that you can read to learn how to fix common data and file issues in the program: Verify and rebuild data in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

Hi there, @cstan3.
I appreciate you for getting back into this thread. Let me address your concern about securing a copy of your attachments folder in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac.

Here's how:
However, if you're using multi-user mode, you’ll need to create your backups from QuickBooks Server.
For more information about backing up your QBDT Mac company file, kindly refer to this article: Back up your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac company file.
Additionally, please read through this article to learn more about managing the attachments of your transactions or records: Manage attachments in QuickBooks for Mac. This includes the steps on how to export them to your local folder.
I'd love to get updates on how this goes. Just leave a comment below if you have other questions. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Take care!
