Sales Fulfillment Worksheet - QB is Crashing

We recently began using the warehouse serialized products, where we are scanning in serial numbers for products received and using the scanning devices to capture serial numbers for shipments.  The sales orders are sent to the device for picking through the sales order fulfillment worksheet.  We are having issues of QB crashing when we open the sales order fulfillment screen.

This issue could be due to the computer or how QuickBooks interacts with your Operating System. Are there any specific error messages that appeared during the crash? Please share these details to help us accurately address the problem.

 

In the meantime, let's update your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release as it becomes available to ensure you have all the updated components and run QuickBooks Tool Hub to rectify common file issues.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Download the most recent version (1.6.0.8) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  3. Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
  4. Once finished, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
  5. From the tool hub, select Company File Issues.
  6. Select " Run QuickBooks File Doctor."
  7. In QuickBooks File Doctor, select your company file from the dropdown menu. If you don’t see your file, select Browse and search your file.
  8. Select Check your file and then Continue.
  9. Enter your QuickBooks admin password and then select Next.
  10. Once the scan finishes, open QuickBooks and your company file.

 

Proceed to run QuickBooks compatibility diagnostics:

 

  1. Right-click the QuickBooks icon on your desktop screen and select Properties.
  2. On the Compatibility tab, select Run this program in compatibility mode.
  3. From the dropdown, select Windows 10 or 11.
  4. Choose the Run this program as an administrator checkbox.
  5. Hit Apply, then OK.
