Sales Order to Invoice

I have a Sales Order. I need to transfer the Sales Order to an Invoice. When I transfer everything over and try to email it to a customer, nothing shows up except the qty, price or wording that I have changed on the invoice.

Sales Order to Invoice

Greetings, @Jennifer. We are thrilled to have you join our Community space. Allow me to help you with your concern about emailing a customer, nothing shows up except the quantity, price, or wording that you have changed on the invoice.

 

If you want to choose a template for your invoice, follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to Customers
  2. Create Invoice 
  3. Select Formatting
  4. Select Customize Data Layout
  5. Tick the boxes you want to include in your email.
  6. Click Okay
  7. Then Save and Close

 Done, and does not work all of the time.

Some sales orders transfer and some do not.

I understand that you're facing issues with transferring your sales order to an invoice and how important it is to maintain consistency in your workflow. 

 

To resolve this issue, I suggest you reach out to our support team. Here's how:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help, then choose QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Provide a brief description of your issue, then click Continue.
  5. Sign into your Intuit account, select Continue, and then Continue with my account.
  6. Enter the single-use code you'll receive in your email. Then, hit Continue.
  7. Choose to Chat with us or Have us call you.
