Every so often when I schedule a time frame for an employee to be at a jobsite, quick books will re-enter this time frame for the same employee hundreds of times. What am I doing wrong, or how can I fix it?

I'll help you fix that, crystalclearpools.

Normally, the shift that you've scheduled should be only entered into the program. To isolate the issue, you can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to fix the issue. There are times that the stored temporary internet files cause strange behaviors.

You can start by signing in to your QuickBooks Time company using a private window. This mode doesn't save your browsing history and site data. Here are the shortcut keys:

  • For Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, press Command + Shift + N.

If the duplicates are now gone, go back to your regular browser and then clear its cache to enhance your browsing experience. Alternatively, you can switch to other different browsers
