Thanks for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community! Nice to see you here. You may need to run QuickBooks with full administrative rights to enter the admin email. To correct this, follow these steps:
- Close QuickBooks Desktop and any company files.
- Right-click the QuickBooks Desktop icon on your desktop or Start Menu.
- Select Run as administrator, then click Yes to the UAC prompt.
- Create your new company file again.
- The Admin email field should now be editable.
