When running DD payroll, you have two options that you can select: Print DD on check stock or Assign DD numbers. If you choose the first option, Quickbooks will ask you to enter the first DD number. Then, it will increment by one the next time you run DD payroll. Otherwise, QuickBooks will automatically assign a DD number if you select the Assign DD numbers option.
