Shopify Holding Account

Hi there,

 

My SHopify sales go under Shopify Holding account. And then it transfers some balance (total sales minus Shopify Fees) to Checking account. But since it puts Shopify Fees under Shopify Fees Account and it doesn't transfer that amount, there is an accumulating balance in my Shopify Holding Account and it's increasing. And it shows under my Assets.

Is it how it's supposed to be? 

How should I correct it?

Shopify Holding Account

Good day, @irertem!

 

You'll have to select go back to your Shopify settings and check the mapping of your accounts.

 

Since we don't have direct control and view of your Shopify app, I recommend contacting their technical support for further help.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click on the link: https://appcenter.intuit.com.
  2. Open or search the Shopify app on the search bar.
  3. Open the app, and select App Information.
  4. Find the phone number.
