Simple inventory question...

To start, syncing the data for the inventory or between the sales channel and QuickBooks will depend on your setup. To clarify, I recommend contacting Shopify support to see if your product in QuickBooks can be synced in two ways. Also, with the other sales channel that you want to sync in the future, you can ask Shopify support for further information and verification.

Thanks so much for the reply and the links. Unfortunately I know that one of the owners has contacted the Shopify about this or similar issues quite a few times and we're not getting much help on that end at all. Initially they had decided to totally ditch QuickBooks desktop and go to QuickBooks online because we were told that was the only option with it forward. I can't remember exactly who told us that but it was kind of all over the internet and I think since you're people that we had working with the company as far as that as well. Then at the last second, at the end of last week, we found out that QuickBooks desktop was, in fact, still an option and we didn't have to go to online. I know that there's probably a lot more options with QBOL but our bookkeeper wanted to stick with what she knows and didn't like the idea of financials going cloud-based and potentially losing the data at some point ( although I know we can always export reports and whatnot).. from what I am being told, we were told that Shopify retail POS would seamlessly integrate with QuickBooks Online and then that ended up to not necessarily be the case. I can't speak to whether or not that's a certainty but that's what I was told. I'll definitely check out eastlinks and I appreciate it. I had made another post, and somebody had chimed in that QuickBooks desktop 2024 didn't have anywhere near as many third-party connecting apps as QuickBooks online. They even made it sound like there might be done but I haven't had a chance to look yet. Regardless, I definitely appreciate the response and I will do some digging when I have time!

Do you happen to have any suggestions at all for third-party apps that might help with something like this? I'm trying to use the application to link but I'm having a hard time entering in search words that are giving me good suggestions. Most of what I type in comes up with zero results I'll probably just having a hard time worrying it correctly. Specific names of apps that I could look into to see if they might help with the situation? Any additional help you can provide is greatly appreciated! Thanks very much either way.
