I am having the same issue as well and I did all the same things and it did not help. I am having a hard time getting a actual person to talk to in custom support.
I've called twice - the first time the call "got dropped" and the second time I was told it would be a 2 minute hold that took 13 minutes. I am seriously thinking of cancelling my subscription.

I'm having the exact same issue as well. Started on Dec 1. Obviously this is a problem on QuickBooks end. They wont fix it though. They will just leave their customers hanging.

However, if you're using an iOS device, you can fix this by clearing the app's cache. There are instances when the app has a large amount of data, resulting in strange results.

This was kind of a blessing in disguise... I always got frustrated with the receipt snap on the app because alot of times it does not take good pictures or ill have to crop or take multiple times before it works. So glad it stopped working and i started using the forward email feature for my receipts. It is way better. I can use my phones camera app document scanner. Works a lot better then the app. Just go to transactions, then receipts on QuickBooks online. Select "forward from email. Create and email then just take pics and send them to the email you created. You can attach multiple receipts to a single email.
