SOC1 for Quickbooks Desktop

Does Intuit have a current SOC 1 and bridge letter for the Desktop (not online) edition?  Specifically looking for controls around change management.  Thanks.

SOC1 for Quickbooks Desktop

You've come to the right place, wwfc1965. I'm here to share some details about compliance requirements in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Software companies like Intuit are not required by SOX to provide a Trust Services Criteria (TSC) SOC 1, SOC 2, or SSAE 16 report. However, Intuit must submit an annual certification as part of the Intuit 10K filing, which is available online. You can access it through this link: https://investors.intuit.com/financials/annual-reports/default.aspx.

To obtain a copy of the SOC 1 report, you can contact our Customer Support Team. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
  2. Choose Contact Us.
  3. Give a brief description of your issue, then hit Continue.
  4. Sign in to your Intuit Account, select Continue, and then Continue with my account.
  5. We'll email you a single-use code. Enter your code and Click Continue.
  6. Select to chat with us or Have us call you.

I'm still here and ready to assist you further with any questions you have regarding compliance requirements in QuickBooks, wwfc1965. I'm here to listen and help you find solutions. Don't hesitate to share your concerns by leaving a comment below, and I'll do my best to address them.
