i have recently become the treasurer of a 501c3 non-profit public charity -- a domestic rabbit rescue/rehab/adoption endeavour. it's a small-scale operation so far - not more than $5000/yr combined income/outgoes. what's the best accounting software (for federal and South Carolina) for me to use in this kind of situation?
(looking for something i can install in stand-alone mode and run on my PC here at home -- not in/on "the Cloud" or in/on anyone else's site)( i do my own taxes every year bmo TurboTax, i can balance a paper check book , and i had 3 accounting courses in college, back in the mid 60s [ and no further formal accounting experience/exposure since then])
thank you.
(any other advice in addition to the above specific query would be appreciated)
