Square banking intergration with quickbooks

I recently signed up to quickbooks , I process some of my sales through Square and I have a square bank account. When I integrated my square account, it did integrate into QuickBooks, however whenever I try to review transactions, I keep getting an error note that says: We couldn't Add the transaction(s) due to "You must select a 'From' account and a 'To' account.". Try again later.  I assume my situation is tricky because my square sales dont go directly into my main business checking account and instead when I process Square sales, the sales are held in Square banking and from time to time I transfer funds from my square banking account to my main business checking account. Is there a process to account for this or do I need add the square transactions in manually?

Square banking intergration with quickbooks

Hi @javonica86,

Thank you for choosing QuickBooks Online! I'm here to help you integrate Square banking with our system.

There's a process you need to follow so you can bring your sales transactions into QuickBooks automatically. You'll need to connect your bank account to bank feeds first, then integrate with the third-party app.

Also, please bring over products and services that aren't listed yet in QuickBooks. For detailed instructions on the process, visit this link: Connect your Square account to QuickBooks Online.

If you've followed the suggested steps above and the error persists, drop a comment below. I recommend including a screenshot of the result for a much more accurate resolution.

Please note you can disconnect an app linked to your account too. If you need to cancel or change your subscription, you can access the Intuit App Center. For your reference, check out this article: Disconnect an app and change subscription.

I'm always around to lend a hand if you have other questions related to banking or sales transactions. Take care.
