Buy nowI have recently updated my MS Office program (Office 2019 nearing end of life) to MS Office 2024. Not an online version. I bought a license for the program. Now I can't preview, print, or email customer statements. I tried the QB Tool Hub with no resolution. I tried changing the printer settings in QB (Desktop Pro Plus 2024) but it won't connect to the printer(s). I am being asked for a statement and it's not working at all. I can email invoices and even print them. The statements however won't do anything..... I can only imagine it's something to do with the new email program but since I can print and email invoices I'm at a loss as to how that's possible....
Thank you for reaching out regarding the issue with previewing, printing, and emailing customer statements in QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024, Christine. To help resolve this, please make sure your QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest release, as Intuit regularly provides updates that address compatibility and performance improvements.
You can check your current version inside QuickBooks by pressing F2 or Ctrl+1 and seeing the version and release number, which should match the latest release (for example, QuickBooks 2024 R15_82.1 or similar).
Please note that QuickBooks automatically downloads updates as they become available. Once the update has been downloaded, you’ll see an Update available notification in the status bar at the top right corner of the window. The next step is to install the update. If you close QuickBooks and keep your computer turned on, the update will install automatically. Alternatively, you can manually install the update by following these steps:
If the update doesn’t advance to the next release number or you encounter an error during installation, please refer to this article for troubleshooting steps: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.

Hi there!! Thank you for the reply. I have been keeping QB up to date. I also ran it again. It's my Office programs that were changed (outlook, word, excel, etc) because my version was "coming to it's end of use". I can sort of get a customer balance summary (I have to open as an excel spreadsheet and then print to pdf so I can email it. I tried the QB Tool Hub and that doesn't seem to have helped either. I am continuing to try other things, including the hub which has other tools that might work, but I can see no other reason for the error than the Microsoft program change to my Email program. Every time I try to email a statement it says wait for it to connect to printer. That doesn't make sense. Email doesn't require a printer. It also gave an error saying wait for printer to connect when trying to export to Excel. That seems to mean there's something really wrong. And I also received an error that a component was missing. I've been trying so many things to get these statements (and see what else I can print or email or anything). Has anybody else ever received this error? Thanks for you help. I'm getting desperate. Almost tempted to uninstall the program and reinstall it but I don't know if I will lose all my company files.....
