Stock count balances

I use, QBDT premier accountant UK version.

Not going to upgrade, just saying.

When I check the history of a stock item, I can't get what the physical balances are per day.

I get a financial balance, but since it's mixing purchase and selling prices, this is of little help.

Where can I get a report that shows the physical balance behind every transaction?

Try clicking on the item list and right click an item and select quick report, set the date range to ALL and refresh

Hello Jaapkrijger,

Welcome to the Community page,

If you go to List>item list>reports>item listings this will show what you have left. Or if you want you can go to List> item list> right click on item in question> then run a quick report.

That is the report I'm talking about, the balances shown are value, not qty based. To make it worse, the incoming stocks is valued at purchase price and the stock sold is deducted at selling price, thus you simply can't find where a stock goes (almost) overdrawn.

The item list only shows what I have left at that very moment, there seems not to be any historical reporting on stocks per day (physical)

Hello Jaapkrijger, thanks for coming back to us, we would advise you ring the desktop support team on  0808 168 9535 they will be able to help and guide you more on what It is your after.

You can try this but I would suggest ringing the support line they will be able to advise more for you. Could try the stock valuation detail reports, then export to excel and remove all the transactions you don’t want, or the stock item quick report, report>stock>stock status by item>click into the item in question, but there is not going to be a report that says you have sold 50 of item x you will have to add things up together in order to find out. Don’t think there is a report in the system which will tell you the amount sold in one day it be a list of transactions that you would have to add up, but the agent on the phone will be able to clarify this for you more and also be able to set up a screenshare with you too.
