Quickbooks Charged my "subscription" a month early and then is trying to say my "bank" inspired this.  I have desktop pro 2024 and NEVER was it discussed with me I'd be paying over $100 a month for this "service"  Quickbooks is out of their minds.  What recourse do we have if we will be refusing to go to the online platform?

The customer service has been terrible for so long.  QB is terrible and we all know it but we all know its a huge PITA to switch over- and so do they.  How can they just charge me whatever they want a month early?

I understand your concern about being moved to an online platform against your wishes. Let me assure you that you have options. You can continue using QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2024 as you originally purchased it, with no obligation to switch to the online platform.

 

QuickBooks continues to support desktop versions, so you'll still receive necessary updates and support for your Desktop Pro 2024.

 

To address the early charge and explore your options fully, I strongly recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Desktop Live Support team. They have the expertise and authority to review your account in detail, explain the early charge, and take appropriate action. This could involve adjusting your billing cycle, providing credit for the early charge, or discussing potential alternatives.

 

Here's how:
 

  1. Click the Help menu at the top.
  2. Select Contact US.
  3. Click the Contact US button at the bottom of the prompt
  4. Write your concerns and click Continue.
