We recognize that having the ability to automatically apply discounts based on customers would make your work much smoother. However, this feature is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). The only way to achieve this is by using payment terms.
As a workaround, I suggest exploring third-party apps to help you with your task.

Here's how to send it:
- Open QBDT.
- Navigate to the Help menu and select Send Feedback Online.
- Choose the Product Suggestion option. A pop-up window will appear.
- Enter your recommendation.
- Click the Send Feedback button.
Additionally, you might want to consider using price levels to set up custom pricing for specific customers or jobs. This way, QB will automatically apply the correct custom price whenever you create a sales form.
