Taking a long time connecting to shared file

Try opening the sample file, enabling the multiuser mode and accessing it from more than one user at the same time. Did you encounter the same issue?

Yea same issue, I haven't tried verifying data yet. I'm also not aware of any update to either the OS or QB at the time it started happening. I did update QB yesterday was kinda hoping that would have fixed it.

Which QB Desktop year version and MacOS do you run?

Currently using QB Mac Plus 2023 Version V22.0.5.724 R6, with iMac running Sonoma 14.1.1

Thank you AileneA, that is our current setup. We all have new this year iMac so I'm pretty confident that it is not a hardware issue either. There has been a few updates and we are inputting more data than we have been so I'm guessing it has something to do with that. We got them working, just frustrating that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I found something that has helped, by verifying the data I have noticed the other computers have spent less time connecting to the shared file. Though it is still longer than it has been in the past it has improved, I also haven't seen the error since then.
