There is no print button on a check I have input. How can I print a check?

Hello there, doug.

I recognize how important it is for you to print your checks because it provides a secure way to transfer money. Let me share some insight on why you may have encountered issues.

Upon using QuickBooks Online to create checks, you can choose how you want to print them. Once ready, go to the Print Checks option to print them out. To do so, here are the detailed steps.

  1. Go to + New.
  2. Under Vendor, select Print Checks.
  3. From there on, choose the check you want to print and tick the checkbox.
  4. After, click the Preview and print or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + P to print your checks.

It's important to note that you can directly print your checks from the Check page after creating it. You can select Print and check at the bottom tab. Here's how:

  1. Go to + New.
  2. Under Vendor, select Checks.
  3. Add the necessary details.
  4. After adding on the bottom tab, choose Print check.
  5. Make sure that the appropriate checks will be printed by ticking the checkbox.
  6. Hit the Print and Preview and click Print. Also, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + P to print your checks.

After creating your checks, you can go to Check Detail Report by following the steps in this article: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.
