The only time the total price will be hidden is if the Invoice total option is turned off, Mazzaroth. Are you seeing only the Edit totals option on your end instead of the full amount?
If that's the case, you can open the invoice and adjust the settings to resolve this. Navigate to the More options section and toggle the Invoice total setting to turn it on to make sure the total amount displays correctly. I've added the first screenshot where the setting can be found and the second one where it doesn't show the option:
