We were using two QB files for the same company for the last two months - I was using one and another employee was using a backup version. Is there a way I can import the transaction from one of the files to the other? We are using QB Desktop Pro 2020. Thanks

Good Evening, @JudyT.
I hope your day is going well so far. At this time, you're not able to export and import transactions between two company files. You can only import and export lists. However, I'll send feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider this in one of the upcoming updates for QuickBooks.
Here's an extra article about importing and exporting lists in QuickBooks Desktop to help you in the future.
I'm only a post away if you need me. Have a wonderful day!

If you are not familiar with IIF, consider using one of these 3rd party migration tools.

I am involved as the same issue as JudyT.
Using (2) QB company files for the same transactions.
Since there are software programs out there such as Transaction Pro that allows this - seems like QuickBooks would be willing to help their customers in the same manner (especially since we pay for the software).
