Welcome to Community, @drrevell-pawprin.
Let's perform some steps to fix the error. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources that cause some unusual responses. You can log into your QuickBooks Online account in a private window (incognito). Here's how:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
- Control + Option + P (Safari).
Once signed in, add the employee again. If it's working fine, return to your default browser clear your browser's cache to speed up the loading process. Oftentimes the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate.
If you're still getting the same result, please reach out to our Payroll Support so we can investigate further. Here's how to reach out:
- Go to the Help (?) icon at the top right.
- Select Contact Us from the Search tab.
- Enter your concern, then tap Continue.
- Click either Chat or Callback to connect with a live support agent.
