Encountering an error that you can't add online to an existing subscription when you try to buy a fresh QBO means there's an existing account associated with your billing info. The existing account's status could be canceled or inactive, and you can either resubscribe to the old account or contact our support team to know the best way to proceed. Let me guide you on how to resubscribe and contact our support experts.
- Sign in to your QBO account.
- Go to the Gear icon, then select Subscriptions and billing.
- For your QuickBooks plan, select Resubscribe, and enter the updated billing info.
- Select Subscribe.
- Sign out, then sign in again to go back to the Subscriptions and billing page.
- Check the Next charge date.
