Buy nowI have backups of all of my data files, however trying to restore my data it gives me a message that says it can’tbe converted. What is the problem?
I'm dedicated to assisting you with restoring your backup file, gma2.
Is your file a QBB? Ensure that the backup file is in the .qbb extension before restoring it. Check out this article for details: File types and extensions used by QuickBooks Desktop.
If the issue continues, it could indicate that the backup file is damaged, making restoration difficult. This could be due to an incomplete backup process, storage issues, or file corruption.
To fix this, you may need to create a new backup from the original company file and attempt to restore that instead.
Tag me in the comment if you need more help managing your backup file. I'll be right here to assist.

I've never seen that. What exactly does the message say?
Which QB Desktop year version do you have?
