Send Company File -> Accountant's Copy -> Client Activities ->
Options are all greyed and unavailable. They are:
Save File
Send to Accountant
Import Accountant's Changes from file / web
Remove Restrictions
I have confirmed the file I opened says "Acct Copy div date 7/31/24", so unsure why I am seeing these options?
The file you’ve opened means that your client has limited changes they can make while you, as their accountant, are working on the file, @KJ_Leeds.
To begin, the reason your client's Accountant’s Copy is greyed out is due to file damage. To resolve this, we’ll need to update your QBDT to the latest release to ensure you have access to the latest features and product improvements.
Step 2: Make sure the accountant's changes are saved on the computer you use for QuickBooks. If not, move or copy the file to a local folder before going to Step 3.
Step 3: Check for data damage on your QBDT company file. Here’s how:
After verifying and resolving any data damage, try exporting or saving the accountant’s changes as a PDF file again.
