Unable to send emails or download transactions in QB Desktop

All of a sudden I am not able to send anything through Quickbooks, ex. invoices, estimates or purchase orders.  I also cannot use my Cash Flow Hub or download any transactions to my credit cards.  It appears to be working

and then I get this error message and it crashes my QB.  I have tried checking my QB file for errors.  I have run QB Toolbox Hub diagnostics and nothing is found.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

When you encounter an issue with sending invoices, estimates, or purchase orders, we can use the QuickBooks Tool Hub. Since you already tried this method, we can proceed to restarting and resetting your temp folder permissions or adjusting permissions for XPS Document Writer to rectify the issue. Meanwhile, the Unrecoverable Error XXXXX XXXXX you've encountered may appear when you:

 

  • Open or close a file and save a backup or portable copy
  • Select any menu option, button, or link in QuickBooks
  • Update QuickBooks (program or payroll updates)
  • Run file utilities (verify, rebuild, or condense)

 

To fix this, we can follow some troubleshooting steps. Before we proceed, ensure that your QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest release and create a backup file of your company

 

To initiate the troubleshooting process, open QuickBooks with all windows closed. 

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop, and in No Company Open, select your company file. 
  2. Press and hold ALT on your keyboard and then select Open. Don’t let go of ALT until the file opens. If QuickBooks asks you to sign in, release ALT and enter your password. Press and hold ALT again and select OK.

Unable to send emails or download transactions in QB Desktop

Thank you for all the information.  I have gone through the entire process and am still getting the error.  I can print the estimates, sales orders, invoices and purchase orders to a pdf file fine.  The problem is just when I try to email it.  I get the screen to address the email and type in a message to the customer.  I can see the form on the right hand side but when I select send, that is when I get this error.  Any other suggestions?

  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Briefly describe your issue and click on Continue.
  4. Sign in to your Intuit account. Select Continue and click Continue with my account.
  5. We'll email you a single-use code. Enter your code and select Continue.
  6. Choose to chat with us or Have us call you.
