Upgrading quickbooks 2003

I'd be happy to help you update your QuickBooks Desktop 2003 to the newest version with ease, LasPalmas.

As an initial step, we'll need to create a backup file to make sure that the data will be saved before upgrading. Here's how:

1. Go to the File menu, choose Back Up Company, then select Create Local Backup.
   
2. Select Local Backup.
   
3. In the Tell us where to save your backup copies field, select Browse and select the location in which to save the backup copy. Click OK.
4. In the Create Backup window, specify whether to back up automatically, and select Options to set options for automatic backups.
5. Tap New to set a backup schedule in the Schedule Backups dialog.
6. Hit Finish.

Once backed up, you can now upgrade your QuickBooks version by following the steps below:

1. From the Help menu, select Upgrade QuickBooks.
2. If you’re already using Quickbooks, select Upgrade Now.
3. Select the version you want to upgrade to, then select Upgrade Now.
4. If you want to keep your current version, select Keep old version on my computer, then select Let’s go.

You can start downloading and installing the program:

1. From the Downloads & Updates page, select your product and version.

Your version is too old and you will need some efforts to self upgrade it in steps. You may find the trial license of QBD 2008, 2013 and 2018 prior to convert the file on QBD 2021. I would recommend contacting Support and ask Intuit Data Service to convert your file. Otherwise you may purchase a 3rd party service should you need to convert it completely in due course.
