To avoid data loss or damage to your company file, you'll need to do an incremental upgrade. This means that you will have to download the QuickBooks Desktop versions from 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019. to 2020.

Open your company file on QBD 2014 and create a backup file (i.e QBB). Copy that file into the folder on your new machine and restore it on QBD 2020.
