Buy now & saveI use Quickbooks Pro desk top US version in Mongolia. The Microsoft Mongolian font is not recognised when I try to use it in QB.
Help!
Hi there, Bill. While QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) supports various fonts, it does not support all fonts. It's crucial to verify whether the Mongolian Cyrillic Font is compatible with the version you're using.
If you find that QuickBooks does not adequately support the font, consider installing it on your Windows system. Doing so will adapt to the font specifications in Windows where your company file is located.
If the font remains undetected or incompatible, I recommend using standard fonts recognized by QuickBooks for your documents if you want to change the font for your reports or templates. Additionally, ensure that your QuickBooks software is up-to-date, as updates improve font compatibility.
Alternatively, you can explore third-party applications that integrate with QuickBooks by visiting this link: https://desktop.apps.com/home. Once on the page, follow the steps below:

Hi,
I appreciate the help. I have gone through the options you suggest. No Mongolian Cyrillic Font compatible with QB found.
I have Microsoft Mongolian Cyrillic installed. Works with every other programme on my computer except QB>
I need help from people who have already got Mongolian Cyrillic working in QB.
Thank you. I have tried your options. None work.
I have Microsoft Mongolian Cyrillic font installed and it works on every programme except QB.
I simply get ????????? after the characters are seen.
This could be why the Mongolian Tax authorities do not recognise QB as valid software.
Other help appreciated.
Thanks for trying out the steps provided by my colleague above, BillManley.
Please note that QuickBooks Desktop currently only supports the English language and does not provide an option to switch to Mongolian Cyrillic or any other language. Consequently, if you use a Mongolian Cyrillic keyboard to type in Mongolian characters, QuickBooks will not display or process the text in that language.
As a workaround, I recommend looking for a third-party application that integrates with QuickBooks. You can visit this link: https://desktop.apps.com/home. Once you reach the page, please follow the steps provided by my colleague above.
