When I look in my customer account, the deposits don't show up as just the amount that was deposited. Instead, every line of the deposit is displayed. So if I'm looking for a specific deposit where I know the amount that was deposited, it's not readily spotted. It's fine to see the detail when I drill into it, but not at first glance. I only want to see the amount deposited. Is there a fix for this?

Hello there, jantco.
Please know that the option to show the entire amount deposited for a given customer in their account or profile at first glance is currently unavailable. This is because all the transactions linked to a customer are shown in that section for tracking purposes. Let me show you an alternative way to quickly view the total deposited amount.
I recommend running and customizing the Transaction List by Customer. This allows you to personalize it so that simply the amount deposited is displayed rather than every line of the deposit.
Here's how:
In case you need steps on how to set the report that allows you to save it with its current customization settings, you can read this article: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.
Feel free to return to this thread if you have other concerns about organizing a customer's deposit in QBO. I'd be glad to help, jantco. Stay safe!
