I am using WebConnect to pass data back and forth with JobTread. It is working but where can I find a log, file or report that shows the data that was transferred.

WebConnect QBD data file

Hi Judy, welcome to our Community!

I would be happy to assist you with finding a log of the data transferred to your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). The log file can be accessed through QBWin.log. This file records all the activities and events within the QB application, providing a record of the data transferred.

Before proceeding with the following steps, ensure you have enabled the display of hidden files and folders.

Locate the QBWin.log file:

  1. In the QBDT home, press Ctrl + 1 to open the Tech Help window.
  2. Click the Open File tab.
  3. In the list of files, double-click QBWin.log.

Additionally, you can access the QBWin.log file by going to the File Explorer of your computer.

Here's an article with detailed information on QBWin.log files: Find QBWin.log or QuickBooks.log files.

Furthermore, you can access your QBDT Bank Feeds to see the transactions that have been imported. The colored bar will indicate whether a transaction is pending, under review, or has already been reviewed. If you need help generating a report on JobTread, please get in touch with their support team for assistance.

Moreover, here's an article about managing your Bank Feeds transactions: Add and match Bank Feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.

Feel free to comment if you have any concerns regarding transferring your data. I'll be here to assist. Good day.
