Hello @stopmotion24,
In QuickBooks Desktop, the pop-up messages are information used to convey a certain feature you can utilize while working in the software. Since you wanted to get rid of them, you can turn this setting off directly from your preferences. I'll show you.
On top of that, I've also included this reference helpful with the resources needed so you can keep the security of your account up-to-date: Account management gathers topics for your Intuit Account.
Don't hesitate to post again here if you have other questions or concerns with QuickBooks tasks and navigations. I'm always around happy to help. Take care and stay safe!

I am still getting the Quickbooks Enterprise pop up and my pop ups have been disabled forever. Irritatingly, this pop up seems as if it will continue to come back, as there is not an option to "never show again." Just "maybe later." I can't tell you how distracting this is, and how unnecessary. It appears that QB has a new workaround to continue to be "in" our computers and in front of our faces although we've asked them not to be. I just don't understand why QB, every time it demands a log-on check in (for "security purposes" or whatever) simply uses that opportunity to embed more scripts to irritate and antagonize its customer base. (I can't even imagine what would happen if we wanted to use our desktop versions without constant connection to the internet. QB actually freezes our own data files and functionality until we stop what we're doing and log in. Pointlessly.)
And please don't tell me "that's not Intuit's intent" and that it's really for our own good. Please. Just fix this.
My popups have been disabled forever and I still get the QB Enterprise ad. The "solution" does not work. And I have also recently updated my system to the newest files. QB wants this Enterprise popup to continue to distract and that's that. It also seems as if they want it to be there perpetually, because there is no option to "never show again." It's only "maybe later." And it keeps coming back.
QB's insistence that we log in frequently is sold to us as for our own good, for our security, etc. If we attempt to use the software we paid for without having QB in our faces and in our pants all the time, then we lose access to our own data.
Please don't tell me "this isn't Intuit's intent" because few of us could possibly believe it. Just please stop distracting us and wasting our time with your own workaround designed to continue to be in our faces when we are trying to get our work done.
Can you please fix this?
OMG!!! you hit the nail on the head.
We are already working with an industry specific company, to get rid of QB enterprise and use their software. Quickbooks just seems to do all they can to annoy their customers to the point of getting rid of their software. They will never learn, so all of this is for nothing, but had to let it be known, it is so much an issue, we are simply getting rid of their software.
