When running payroll, QBO occasionally creates a duplicate "Direct Deposit" account and posts to both the new and existing one. We cleared the cache and browsing history.

In fact, we installed a new browser before running payroll. I can solve the issue by simply inactivating the duplicate account but I now have 10 or 12 of these accounts and am hoping someone knows a way to prevent this from happening. In fact, is there a way to lock the Chart of Accounts so QBO won't automatically create new ones?
