Your credit card might have multiple names on our list, Contact185. Let's dive through the other ways you can connect your credit card to QuickBooks.
When adding a bank to QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can enhance your search by entering your bank's URL (the link you use when logging in to your bank's website). This step ensures you connect with the correct credit card account.
Here's how:
- Go to the Transactions menu and select Bank Transactions.

- Select Link your bank or Link account.
- In the search field, enter your credit card's URL.

- When your credit card appears on the list, click on it and follow the on-screen steps to connect.
If you still can't connect, or if your credit card name doesn’t appear, you may request support from your bank. To do this, please see Step 3 in this article: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking in QBO.
Additionally, it's possible your credit card doesn't connect to all types of accounts or is not a participating financial institution. I recommend contacting Shopify to inquire. They may have specific procedures or tools in place to facilitate connection with QuickBooks. You may consider uploading your transactions to QBO in the meantime.
When your credit card account successfully connects to QBO, you may end up with duplicate entries due to the manual uploads. To handle this, you can exclude the duplicates to keep your books accurate.
On the other hand, if you want to integrate Shopify inventory management and contacts with QuickBooks, you can refer to the following resources:
Finally, you can take advantage of QuickBooks Live Assisted. They can provide real-time support and guide you through any issues—from recording transactions to reconciliations, simplifying your financial management together!
