Is it not possible to purchase registrations for QB Mac Desktop 2023 during the weekend?

Our Sales and Support teams for QuickBooks Mac are only available during the weekdays. They are open from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M Pacific Time from Mondays to Fridays.

We can wait until Monday to call our Sales team for the QuickBooks Mac purchase and registration.

Why do you ask? You are not located in US/CA?

Because I don’t want to have to pay $550 annually for a product I used to buy once every 2-4 years.  I hate QB online as it is like learning a new software program.   There is no resemblance between desktop and online. 

Yes I’m in the US but a search for MAC 2023 returns no hits to purchase or even see it, but yet if you call the right number they will sell you what use to be a $200 to $300 one time purchase that’s now $550 annually.  But the worst part is they are FORCING the change.  No more updates or bank transactions downloaded into QB.

You can purchase a new license for QBD 2023 through a partner for a slightly higher price but there's no need to provide your credit card.

I'm having the same issue with QB. I had QB 2007 forever and it was fine until I upgraded my Mac OS. It was then that I found out I can't just purchase QB anymore; there's only this exorbitant annual fee. Ridiiculous!!!

What do you mean by a free program? I only need the basic features and work solo, and I want to have it on my Mac, not online. Can you please tell me what you're referring to here? My free trial is used up and I can't even get in now without a registration code (which I don't want to pay that crazy price for!). Can you direct me?

Thank you for letting me know! I'm desperate to get into my QB Desktop but my free trial has expired. ARGH.

QB in my opinion is becoming a deep state tool.   They are requiring that employees for payroll provide phone and email info…..  A lot of my clients are Hispanic, don’t have bank accounts and don’t have emails.  The bank downloads work great at the office but that’s because of the plan or subscription we have.

Even this reply is not allowing me to correct and insert where I need to.  So forgive the “typos”

At home I’m running Mac 2020 or 2021.  They have stopped the ability to download bank statements into QBs.  I purchased QB 2021 Mac Desktop.   Now they are trying to force me into paying an outrageous amount per month to download bank statements and I don’t own the software.

i really hate QBs and as a CPA , have hated it from the start.  Just because a client has QBs, doesn’t mean they are now a bookkeeping expert. Although they think they are.They have almost forced CPAs to adopt QBs by forcing on the client so the client can then send the files to the CPAfor cleanup

Another option, use QB Desktop 2020 or 2021 (Windows) with the one time license + Parallels + Windows 10 Home.

Yes, it's very confusng. I need to go back in for my 2022 taxes and 2019 won't work with Mac OS Sonoma so I spent 6 hours including a hard sales pitch for the $500/yr "new" online solution. I pulled out an old Mac that had the 2019 on it, but it crashed too. Finally I found an Intuit site that had the 2023 desktop download which I was able to put on Sonoma and upgrade my 2019 files (whew!). This temporary license gives me 15 opens of the software, but where do I buy it? The sales guy I talked to on Friday would only sell me the online version. Is that because he makes a bigger commission? He was pretty pushy on selling me on premium.
